Voter's Pamphlet Statement
I’m running for the Clark County Charter Commission because I believe in public service. For the last 13+ years I’ve been dedicated to serving our community and teaching middle schoolers about U.S. and Washington State history. In class we talk about the ideals our country was founded on, how to learn from our past, and how to be active citizens for our community.
Clark County is home, and I want to ensure that we are set up for success now, and for generations. Everyday, I hear what matters to my students and their families, and I will continue to listen as the community I serve grows. I want to represent you and bring your suggestions to the table.
I’ve heard that small businesses need to grow our economy alongside the local farms that grow our food. I’ve heard that we need to balance responsible housing growth while preserving the natural beauty around us. And, I’ve heard that we need to provide greater transparency to redistricting while also improving county safety and communication.
When elected, I’ll bring an innovative mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a tireless work ethic to my time on the commission. I hope to earn your vote.
